The Sardinian Agency for R&TD
Operating since 1989, Sardegna Ricerche supports the Regional Government's policies for research, innovation and technology development, and manages Polaris, the island's Science and Technology Park.

Sardegna Ricerche, established by the Region of Sardinia in 1985 as "Consorzio Ventuno", was renamed in January 2007 to better reflect its new mission: to promote research and technology transfer and the development of a knowledge-based local economy.

Locations and contacts
The Agency has three operational centres. The main centre is at Pula, in the Province of Cagliari, within Polaris, the Technology Park of Sardinia, the others are in Cagliari (registered office) and Nuoro. The Technology Park also has a centre at Alghero, operated by Porto Conte Ricerche.
