On 14-15 December 2010 at T Hotel in Cagliari, an international conference entitled "Bioethics challenges in the era of technological progress" will be held, starting at 02:30 pm.
Organised by the Regional Government of Sardinia and Sardegna Ricerche, in collaboration with the University of Cagliari - Public Health Department, this event aims at fostering debate on and understanding of the future challenges posed to medicine in the era of technological progress.
Speakers include: Ugo Cappellacci, President of the Regional Government of Sardinia; Giorgio La Spisa, Regional Minister of Programming; Antonio Angelo Liori, Regional Minister of Health; Gianluca Cadeddu, Regional Centre for Programming; Valter Songini, Sardegna Ricerche; Mario Piga, University of Cagliari; Ernesto d'Aloja, University of Cagliari; Enzo Tramontano, University of Cagliari; Francesco Cucca, University of Sassari; Maria Giovanna Marrosu, University of Cagliari; Maurizio Mori, University of Turin; Antonio G. Spagnolo, Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Rome; Giovanni Caocci, University of Cagliari; Felice Nuvoli, University of Cagliari; Gabriele Finco, University of Cagliari; Jean Marie Mepandawatu, Pontifical Council For Health Pastoral Care, Vatican City; Eugenio Lecaldano, "La Sapienza" University in Rome; Marianna Gensabella Furnari, University of Messina; Mohammed M. The official language is Italian; simultaneous translation to and from English will be provided.
