Description
Sardegna Ricerche in collaboration with the European Bioinformatics Institute (EMBL-EBI) is organising a workshop on "Small Molecules in Bioinformatics". The workshop will take place on Wednesday 28 September 2011 from 09:30 at the Science and Technology Park of Sardinia in Pula (Italy).
The event is part of the Bioinformatics Roadshow organised by EBI, which aims at addressing the needs of European scientists for hands-on bioinformatics training. The Bioinformatics Roadshow is funded by the European Commission as part of the SLING Integrating Action.
The workshop is locally organised within the activities promoted by the Enterprise Europe Network and will be held in English. Class size is limited to 25 attendees.
Registration and Travel Fellowships
Attendance to the workshop is free and is open to students and researchers. Since the number of participants is limited, we recommend that you register no later than September 2. In order to register, please fill all the fields in the linked "Registration Form" and e-mail it to:

In the event that registration requests outnumber available seats, attendees will be selected based on the information provided in the Registration form. Priority will be given to Sardinian students and researchers.
A limited number of travel fellowships are available for SLING roadshows. Fellowships are only applicable to persons travelling from outside the host institute and attending for the full duration of the course. Fellowships cover a maximum EUR500 per person towards the cost of travel, accommodation and subsistence. Further information and a bursary application form, which should be sent to Roadshow coordinators by 28 July 2011, are available on EBI website:
