On 2 July 2012 at 15:00 hrs, a seminar entitled "Sustainable Energy Development: The Present Situation and Possible Paths to the Future", organised by CRS4, will be held at the Technology Park of Sardinia in Pula.

The seminar focuses on some of the many important areas that deserve more attention:
- the recently emerging game-changing developments of the postponement of "peak oil"
- nuclear power future following the disaster in Japan
- effects of the recent global economy downturn
- the potential and impacts of electric cars
- the often neglected energy status and promising potential of Africa.
