On 11 and 12 October SINNOVA 2018 will be held in Cagliari, marking the sixth edition of Sardinia’s Innovation Expo. The event will be held at the Manifattura Tabacchi and is organised by Sardegna Ricerche in collaboration with The Regional Department for Programming, Budget, Credit and Territorial Planning.
The 2018 edition will host during its two days more than 100 exhibiting enterprises, belonging to five main sectors: ICTs and aerospace, with 59 companies, cultural and environmental tourism with 23 enterprises, smart energy grids with 8 organisations, biomedicine with 6 entities and agroindustry with 6 companies. There will also be six public agencies and institutions (the University of Cagliari, the University of Sassari, the Department for Programming of the Sardinian Region, CRS4, Porto Conte Ricerche and IMC).
Workshops, meetings and round tables will start on 11 October at 9:30. This year, the focus of the Expo will be on the latest technological innovations: some key topics will be robotics and artificial intelligence, the circular economy, blockchains and precision agriculture.
The workshops will be streamed on Sardegna Ricerche’s YouTube channel and on the home page of the review online Wired.
