The Alghero centre comprises a 3.5 ha campus in the Tramariglio locality, municipality of Alghero, less than 17 km from Alghero-Fertilia airport.
This modern, state-of-the-art campus, owned by the University of Sassari, comprises some 10,000 sqm of indoor areas, with three separate buildings surrounded by greenery and provided with spacious parking areas.
Two of the buildings house laboratories, offices, plants, the library, meeting rooms, a videoconferencing room, classrooms and service areas and the third contains the auditorium, guest quarters and a cafeteria.
The Auditorium has a seating capacity of about 200 persons and is equipped for simultaneous translation, with a control room for audiovisual projection and recording, and other multimedia equipment.
Close by the Auditorium are the guest quarters, offering rooms with splendid views and all modern comforts, accommodating up to 43 persons. They complete the set of conference facilities making the Centre an ideal venue for holding events, workshops and training seminars.
Activities are managed by Porto Conte Ricerche srl, a company established in 1996 and controlled by Sardegna Ricerche.
