Workshop on open source and economic simulation

On 24 October 2008, a workshop entitled "Complexity and Agent-based Models and Tools in Economics and Finance", organised by the Open source software Lab of Sardegna Ricerche will be held at the Technology Park in Pula.
The workshop will address the latest developments in economic and financial systems modelling, and the use of open source software for simulating these systems. It will also cover the main simulation frameworks based on free open source software (Repast and Mason), and their application to economic and financial simulation.
