IBM opens a new technology unit at Pula

A new IBM technology unit dedicated to research on high performance computing for biomedicine is opening at the main campus of the Technology Park, at Pula (CA).
The official opening event, which will be held on October 9th in building 2 of Sardegna Ricerche, will also include presentation of IBM's approach to the themes of green ITs and energy efficiency, and the screening of some extracts from documentary film "The 11th hour", produced and narrated by Leonardo Di Caprio, on the problems affecting the planet and on sustainable development.
