Sardegna Ricerche and its partners stimulate the creation of new high-tech local enterprises.
Special attention is paid to spin-offs, i.e. new business initiatives created to convert the results of public and private research into commercial products.
Through the establishment of spin-offs, research carried out in the island’s universities and research centres is transformed into a means for stimulating regional development, creating qualified employment and new resources for Sardinia’s economy.
The services delivered by SR and its partners aim at favouring the market consolidation of these entrepreneurial initiatives, providing the support they need especially in the start-up phase.
For this purpose, SR and its partners manage dedicated technology incubators and supporting facilities for new enterprises, carry out scouting and assessments of research results, and design support schemes aimed at channelling financial and professional resources towards the new enterprises.
