On Monday 29 and Tuesday 30 June 2009 at 10:30, Porto Conte Ricerche will host an international conference on Advances in Mediterranean Aquaculture.

The main aim of this initiative, organised with the kind support of the Banco di Sardegna Foundation, is to share information and report on the results of the latest studies on aquaculture in the Mediterranean. Speakers will include international and Italian experts from various universities and research centres. The detailed programme is available below, under related documents.

Researchers and research centres wishing to present posters on their studies and results achieved can contact the organisational secretariat to submit posters and abstracts: the abstracts will be included in a CD-ROM that will be distributed to participants during the conference.

Official languages are Italian and English. Simultaneous translation will be arranged if requested.
