Description
On 28 May 2010 at 10:30, a seminar entitled "CALIPHO: the wet and dry side of the neXtProt Project", organised by CRS4 will be held at the Technology Park in Pula.
In September 2008, the UniProt/Swiss-Prot group achieved a major milestone: the first complete manual annotation of what is believed to be the full set of human proteins (derived from about 20'300 genes). The next step, within the CALIPHO team, is the development of neXtProt, a new human-centric protein knowledge resource. Prof. Amos Bairoch and Dr. Lydie Lane will describe the wet and dry sides of the neXtProt Project.
The official language of the seminar is English.
