Sardegna Ricerche at CeBIT 2011

From 1 to 5 March, Sardegna Ricerche will be present at CeBIT 2011 in Hannover, taking part in the world's most prestigious trade fair for IT and Telecommunications, an event which each year attracts more than 500,000 visitors from 77 countries, featuring thousands of exhibitors and a variety of events offering excellent opportunities for high-level networking.

Sardegna Ricerche participates in the CeBIT in the framework of its initiatives aimed at promoting Sardegna DistrICT, the Sardinian ICT district, comprising technology labs that are a true hotbed for R&D and experimentation of innovative applications and services, grouping the activities and scientific and technological expertise of enterprises, universities and research centres.

The Sardinian exhibition stand, located within the "Spazio Italia" organised by the Italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) in pavilion 9 of the trade fair, is devoted to ICTs, telecommunications, software and associated services, and hosts the following Sardinian enterprises, research centres and organisations: CRS4, the Chambers of commerce of Cagliari and Sassari, Stelnet.com, RealT, Xorovo, Tzente, Televideocom and Athlos.

Each exhibitor will present its projects, products and applications within the stand in dedicated seminars, organised in collaboration with Enterprise Europe Network, of which Sardegna Ricerche is a member through the CINEMA Consortium.
