Established and controlled by the Autonomous Region of Sardinia, Fase 1 srl is the first public company in Italy engaged in supporting the testing of new diagnostic and therapeutic agents through phase I and II pre clinical and clinical trials. Its offices are located in Cagliari.
Fase 1 srl is a company created by the Region of Sardinia to pursue the clinical development of new diagnostic and therapeutic agents. The company leverages on its budget from public funding, and its activities are coordinated by the Office of the President of the Regional Government.
Fase 1 relies on a high-profile Scientific Committee and an independent Ethics Committee responsible for safeguarding the interests and well-being of all parties involved in clinical trials. The company is managed by a sole director and a board of auditors.
Activities & services
Fase 1 assesses the technical-scientific relevance and marketing potential of new diagnostic and therapeutic agents, carries out preclinical and clinical trials and delivers scientific training and information. The company also provides a broad range of services, including pre- and post-patenting assistance, assessment and support in the preparation of technical-scientific and regulatory dossiers, and the design and execution of preclinical and clinical trials.
