Thursday 10 June at 09:30, Sardegna Ricerche in collaboration with Centro Servizi per le Imprese, special agency of the Chamber of Commerce in Cagliari, is organising an International workshop and Brokerage event on "Free Software: A Community for a New Business Model".
The event, which will be held in the framework of the 4th National Conference on Free Software (11-12 June, Cagliari, Italy), is promoted by Enterprise Europe Network, of which both Sardegna Ricerche and Centro Servizi per le Imprese are partners.
It will consist in:
- an International Workshop: during the morning representatives of enterprises and research centres will discuss about the role of free software and present their personal experience.
- an UP2U Session: registered speakers are granted three-minutes to introduce their business activities and projects to the audience. A maximum of 10 applications will be accepted.
- a Brokerage Event: during the afternoon one-to-one meetings will be organised among representatives of enterprises, research centres and institutions.
The event is open to all comers and is free of charge. Registration is mandatory.

In order to apply for the UP2U Session, you should send a ten-line presentation of your company or research centre to dallacia@sardeganricerche.it by 20 May 2010. A maximum of 10 applications will be accepted.
