Subsidiaries

Sardegna Ricerche controls two R&D companies: CRS4, focused on enabling computing technologies and their applications in the fields of biomedicine, biotechnology, the information society, energy and the environment, and Porto Conte Ricerche, which operates in the field of biotechnologies applied to the agrifood industry and the environment and manages the Alghero centre of the Science and Technology Park of Sardinia. Sardegna Ricerche also controls Pula Servizi e Ambiente, a local firm tasked with maintenance and technical services.

IMC - International Marine Centre is a non profit NGO Research Foundation that deals with coastal ecosystems, aquaculture and fishery resources.

Established in 1990, CRS4 is a fully owned subsidiary of Sardegna Ricerche based in Pula (Cagliari, Southern Sardinia).

The company has its HQ in Alghero (SS) and is controlled by Sardegna Ricerche. The other shareholders are the Province of Sassari and the Municipality of Alghero.
