Governing bodies
The governing bodies of Sardegna Ricerche are the General Director and the Auditor. The General Director is the Agency's legal representative. Within the limits set by the Agency's statute, the General Director has competence in administrative, budgetary and financial matters. The General Director also directs and coordinates the Agency's activities and verifies achievement of its objectives, while the Auditor monitors the Agency's management and audits its accounts.
The Agency's General Director is appointed by the President of the Region, on a resolution of the Regional Executive, based on the proposal of the Regional Minister for programming. The Auditor is appointed by decree of the President of the Region, based on a resolution of the Regional Executive.
