On 6 November, Sardegna Ricerche will take part in Teqnopolis 2008, the 2nd Edition of European Business Meetings for Technology and Science Clusters and Innovative Companies that will be held in Milan.

The papers presented during the conference on the Electronic Health Record, held in Pula (CA) on October 2nd and 3rd last are available on this website.

On 24 October 2008, at the Technology Park a workshop will be held on the recent applications of open source software to the simulation and modelling of economic systems. This event also marks the close of European project Complex Markets.

A new IBM technology unit dedicated to research on high performance computing is to be established at the main campus of the Technology Park, at Pula (CA). The official opening event will be held on October 9th, in building 2 of Sardegna Ricerche.

From 22 to 26 September, Cagliari will be hosting the "European Conference on Computational Biology" (ECCB08), the most important European event in the field of bioinformatics computational biology.

Sardegna Ricerche will be at ZeroEmission Rome 2008, the international event on renewable energy, emission trading and environmental sustainability, which will be held at the new Rome Trade Fair Centre from from 1 to 4 October 2008.

Sardegna Ricerche will take part in the V edition of Bioforum 2008, the international expo-conference on biotechnologies, in Milan on 1 and 2 October 2008.

On 2 and 3 October next, the Science Park at Pula will host a conference organised by the ICTs for medicine lab, CRS4 and the Edith Consortium. The theme of the conference will be the development of international standards in EHR, to meet the new challenges and requirements of e-health.

On 31 January, at the Auditorium of the Technology Park in Pula, a seminar entitled "Drug clinical trials in biomedical research" will be held.

On Tuesday 18 December, Porto Conte Ricerche and the Materials Science and Nanotechnology Lab of Sassari University will hold, at the Alghero campus of the Technology Park, a one-day seminar entitled "Introductive seminar school to nuclear magnetic resonance and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy".
