With a traditional food workshop and testing event on typical regional breads from the island, Sardegna Ricerche is taking part in the calendar of events of Forest Open Days (Foreste Aperte), which on Sunday 26 April stops over at the Regional Forest of Pixinamanna, Pula (CA).

The event, organised by the Regional Forestry Agency of Sardinia and by the Regional Ministry of Tourism, covers six of the main regional forests, and features a rich calendar of events, including nature walks and sports, educational and entertainment events for adults and children, aimed at promoting sustainable use of forest resources.

The event programme for the Pixinamanna forest focuses on the local winemaking and food tradition: an opportunity for Sardegna Ricerche to showcase the results of project "Innovation and enhancement of traditional Sardinian breads" which has involved more than 25 local bakery enterprises.
